can't wait for this new decade to begin - i know many of us are ready for 2009 to be over! i am grateful for many many things i've learned during these times of not-so-plenty that i may not have if my cup were more full. i've started looking more inward and looking less to the outside world to fulfill my needs. though these times appear bleak, watch the local news less (or don't watch it at all) and go see an art exhibit instead.
remember the words of Mahatma Gandhi "you must be the change you wish to see in the world." well, apparently it cannot be proven that gandhi actually uttered those words, but i like 'em and i'll leave the credit with him.
